But all this pushing, pulling and being shoved around by others seems to be working, because after a month I am more confident about my body. Every day in the subway people push me and stand on my feet without so much as a word of apology, and one day I am going to be strong and confident enough to give as good as I get.

The lady in first spot has now become a first-class navel gazer, taking pictures of her gorgeous belly and posting them on WeChat. The man I deposed to take second spot is now taking pictures of his belly, sending them to me and demanding that I show him mine.
