As a food lover and creative thinker, Charles Zeng's three restaurants are well-known for dishes that have a bold and unique combination of ingredients. Here are three of Zeng's favorite dishes available in Captain Rooster.

Cali Burrito

The California Burrito is a tortilla-wrapped mound of meat, Mexican salsa, guacamole, sour cream and most importantly French fries and lots of cheese. The crunchy and crispy fries mixed with juicy meat is an exceptional culinary experience.

Chicken & Waffle

A union of crispy chicken and waffles with a delicate presentation, this dish simply begs you to have a taste. Waffles are normally served with sweet ingredients like honey or syrup but also taste good with salty dishes like friend chicken. Five pieces of freshly fried chicken are placed on top of southern fried chicken. The light and crispy buttermilk waffle perfectly compliments the fried chicken.

Brownie

Zeng boasts that this is the best brownie in the city. A cross between a cake and a cookie in texture, the chocolate brownie is gooey, fudgy, moist and dense–and it is melt-in-your-mouth delicious.
