D J Clark talks to foreigners visiting the Beijing Modern Sky music festival and asks them how Chinese festivals differ from their overseas counterparts. The festival comprises of seventy-eight musicians and bands performing on four stages, over three days October 2-4. The festival mixes veteran Chinese bands with international acts.

D J Clark has worked worldwide as a multimedia journalist for more than 20 years. In 2009 he completed a PhD at the University of Durham, UK, investigating visual journalism in the developing world.
