The number of major construction projects for the First Baoding Tourism Industry Development Conference totals 68, with an overall investment of nearly 19 billion yuan.

A media group, gathering reporters from various media agencies nationwide, toured Baoding for four days from Sept 5, in order to cover the improvement of tourism infrastructure and ecological construction in Baoding city, as well as the city's preparation for the upcoming Tourism Industry Development Conference.
