The internationally-acclaimed Old Town of Lijiang is a UNESCO Heritage site built over 800 years ago. Streets in the Old Town are mostly paved with cobblestones and houses are still kept in their original architectural style, which was typical in the Ming and Qing dynasties. Lijiang is an ideal recreational site and numerous tourists from home and abroad have visited to enjoy the warm sunshine and fresh air and to experience its unique folk customs.[Photo/Xinhua]
