Sun to renew contract with City

Chinese footballer Sun Jihai is set to sign a new contract with English premier league side Manchester City.

News from the club's official website confirmed that Sun had verbally agreed a two-year extension to stay at SportCity.
The two sides are expected to sign the agreement on Saturday.
Sun Jihai, 29, was transferred from Chinese domestic club Dalian Wanda to Man City in 2002 with a 2-million-pound deal.
The popular Chinese international has made a total of 33 appearances this season for the Blues as both a starter and substitute.
