Mianchi museum dubbed 'Sanmenxia patriotism education demonstration base'

The Mianchi Museum in Mianchi county of Sanmenxia was recently dubbed as "Sanmenxia Patriotism Education Demonstration Base".

The unveiling ceremony was held on July 17 in the museum.

More than 50 people, including government officials and staff members from the museum attended the ceremony. Wang Yanjun, deputy researcher of Sanmenxia's publicity department, congratulated the museum on winning the title; he also noted that the demonstration base will definately offer the people with a better platform to receive patriotic education and foster national pride.

As a comprehensive museum with four exhibition halls, Mianchi Museum has held a series of large exhibitions, and has also been granted numerous honorary titles since its opening in December, 2001.
