Martial arts to go Australia for cultural exchange

Updated: 2009-01-22 09:52 Henan province will showcase its Shaolin martial arts, tourist attractions and investment projects to Australians during an eight-day cultural exchange from Monday. The event in Sydney has been scheduled to coincide with both China's Lunar New Year Day and Australia Day, Lu Dawei, secretary-general of the organizing committee said in Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, yesterday. The Henan delegation and Australian enterprises are expected to sign trade agreements valued at $2.6 billion, according to the official. |
