Shanghai Happy Valley at the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort

The 2020 Sheshan Summer Carnival will enchant visitors with a variety of activities this summer at the Shanghai Sheshan National Tourist Resort.

During the carnival, popular tourist attractions at the resort will roll out special offers and hold activities such as musical performances, parent-child activities, sporting events and food festivals.

Many of the activities are tailored to summer travel, such as evening parties on the water to escape the summer heat, and summer flower shows to display the beauty of the season.

The resort, known as the "backyard garden of Shanghai", is home to a number of popular spots in the city, including the Shanghai Happy Valley, Chenshan Botanical Garden, Shanghai Shimao Dream City, Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park and more.

Covering an area of 64.08 square kilometers, it is located in northwest Songjiang district in the southwest suburbs of Shanghai, 30.4 km from downtown.
