The Dandong delegation will take part in the 15th Pyongyang Spring International Trade Fair to be held at the Pyongyang Three-Revolution Exhibition from May 14 to 17. The delegation, consisting of 42 Dandong enterprises and 123 delegates, is the largest in scale over the past few years.
Dandong enterprises will set up 96 indoor and outdoor booths at the fair. Electric and electronic appliances, machine tools, textiles and clothing, foodstuffs, petrochemical goods, vehicles, and building materials will be displayed, with product varieties and numbers reaching a record high.
The Pyongyang International Trade Fair, sponsored by the International Exhibition Agency of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), is the largest international trade fair in terms of exhibition scale in the country. Many domestic companies have a high expectation on business opportunities in DPRK and they hope to get their products known in the DPRK through the trade fair.
In addition, 10 medium-sized and small enterprises of the city will participate in the fair for the first time. To create opportunities for them to develop and go global, subsidies will be offered to cover their fee for the booth charge.
