Dalishu National Ecological Agriculture Sightseeing Area is capitalizing on the newest form of tourism, agricultural tourism, which combines the best of nature's bounty with all the amenities of a traditional tourist resort.
Known as a "National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Unit", the Dalishu agriculture sightseeing area is located 10 kilometers from the southwestern suburbs of Fengcheng, making it an easy escape from the Liaoning province city. With a total area of 21.37 square kilometers, the destination is only 5 kilometers from Shen-Dan Highway's Fengcheng Exit.
At Dalishu National Ecological Agriculture Sightseeing Area, visitors can explore The Flower and Fruit Mountain, Herb King Valley, Three Pearl Lakes, Antique Village, Movie Town and other sights and amenities. Pick flowers, relax on vacation, be entertained or hold a conference or reception in a scenic setting. Authentic farm foods are another unique attraction praised by local and overseas visitors. The area can host a 400-person meeting, feed 3,000 diners a day and boasts accommodations for 500.
Flower and Fruit Mountain Area
Flower and Fruit Mountain is the largest village orchard in China, covering 26,000 1,733 hectares where more than a million apricot, peach, pear, plum, apple, chestnut and other trees are planted. The picking season begins at the end of June and last until November. Visitors can appreciate the flowers in spring and pick fruit in late summer and autumn.
Herb King Valley Area
Ginseng that is 900 years old has been unearthed at Herb King Valley Area, where fragrant herbs grow and spring waters are available.
Fruit and Vegetable Picking Base
At the ?fruit and vegetable picking base, you can pick delicious fruits and vegetables for free with a ticket. Choose from among tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, mushrooms, melons and other crops that continue to mature from early May to July.
Movie Town Area
Dalishu Northern Movie Town is where you can explore sets where numerous films and television shows were filmed. You might even bump into a movie star.
Exhibition Hall
In the exhibition hall, the rich history of Dalishu village is on display. You can learn more about Mao Zedong in the Mao Zedong family history and family exhibition hall.
