As winter approaches, the best season for strawberries has arrived. Yet the biggest pleasures are picking your own strawberries and tasting their sweetness when they are as fresh as possible.

Here are several recommended places in Wuxi where you can get a feel for the process and pick up the freshest strawberries.

楊氏草莓生態園 （Yangshi Caomei Shengtai Yuan）

Yang's Strawberry Ecological Park, located near Doushan Agriculture Ecological Park, is known as the backyard garden of Wuxi and has been running for many years.

Set on more than 10 hectares, the park has several strawberry varieties such as red cheeks, originally from Japan, and pineberry, a rare local variety.

Yang's Strawberry Ecological Park can hold more than 100 visitors at the same time.

Strawberry base of Wuxi Modern Agriculture Expo Park

無錫現代農業博覽園草莓基地（Wuxi Xiandai Nongye Bolanyuan Caomei Jidi）

The strawberry base of Wuxi Modern Agriculture Expo Park, located on the north side of Jiaoshan Mountain in Wuxi's Anzhen, is the largest planting base for multi-variety strawberries in Wuxi. It is also the demonstrative base for strawberry planting techniques.

Nie's Strawberry Park

聶氏草莓園 （Nieshi Caomei Yuan）

Nie's Strawberry Park is in Xibei town in Wuxi's Xibei district. It has a history of more than 10 years in planting and scientific research of this tasty fruit since it first introduced and started cultivating strawberries in 2007.

Nie's Strawberry Park uses 66.67 ha for planting strawberries and the park can offer various kinds of fresh fruits for over six months.
