With hundreds of years' history, they were ordered by Shen Wansan to entertain his friends and relatives.

Suppliers have sought to continually improve the quality of the raw materials and its manufacturing process.

Now the cakes are cut by hand and go through eight steps in the manufacturing process.

They have developed several new products that cater to different preferences, including sesame cakes, peanut cakes and 20 other kinds of pastries and puddings.
