Ninghai Power Plant 2x1000MW Expansion Project (Phase II) in Zhejiang (China)

With a total installed capacity of 4400MW, the power plant is the first of its kind to adopt a desalinated seawater circulation cooling system, which completely eliminates the possible impact of warm water discharged from primary circulation on adjacent sea areas and therefore, is of groundbreaking significance for the construction of large-scale costal power plants.
The project won Gold Metal for National Quality Project Award (the highest Award in China's national construction field), and the "Year 2010-2011 Luban Award".
