The Secretary of Kunshan Municipal Party Committee Zhang Guohua, accompanied by the vice mayor of Kunshan Huang Jian and other officials, visited Huaqiao International Service Business Park on June 24.
Ren Xueyuan, member of the standing committee and director of the managing committee of Huaqiao economic development zone, addressed a report on the economical achievements at the first half year of 2009 at Huaqiao.
After hearing the report, Zhang Guohua spoke highly of Huaqiao’s strategy with a development focus for every year in the past three years.
As to the next move, Zhang pointed that Huaqiao should make full use of the resources of Shanghai and Jiangsu Province and try to achieve four goals.
The first involves building Huaqiao into a financial BPO base, not only introducing banking and insurance services, but also extending to other financial businesses.
Second, Huaqiao should make efforts to form into a headquarters with research, marketing, delivery and settlement.
Next, a logistics base should be constructed. In addition, the management systems of supply links based on logistics ought to be applied.
The last but not the least is to set up a business and service center, in accordance with the demands of production and living in Huaqiao.
Zhang also urged Huaqiao to enhance the information platform and attract more leading enterprises to enter. The enterprises should be positioned according to their businesses.
Zhang encouraged Huaqiao to perfect the basic infrastructure for the living environment so that white collar workers are willing to live and stay.
At last, Zhang called for the local governments’ preferential allocation of resources and policies to support the rapid development of Huaqiao.
