Wang Qisong, who specializes in traditional Chinese painting, was born in the city of Ruzhou, Henan province, who got his master's degree from the National Academy of Arts, and got involved in oriental art under the guidance of many established artists, such as Ding Chenggong, and Lu Muxun.
Wang has also studied calligraphy and his art works have appeared in major magazines and albums across China. He is a member of the Chinese Painting Association, Henan Artists Association, Henan Calligraphers Association, a vice-secretary of the Pingding Artists Association, and president of the Ruzhou Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute.
