The Ruzhou Commodity Fair was officially inaugurated on Oct 25 with cheerful firecrackers. Leading officials of the municipal government were present at the opening ceremony.
Ruzhou Commodity Fair started in the early 1980s. The commodity fair attracted 600 participating companies in each of the previous 26 sessions.
This year's commodity fair follows the theme of "opening, development and prosperity". It has attracted companies from over 10 provinces and municipalities to exhibit their products with a local flavor in an all-round way. It has employed Henan Opera Troupe from Xi'an to liven things up.
At the same time, the security department has enhanced monitoring to create a safe and civilized environment to exhibitors and friendly and comfortable surroundings for local residents.
