The Huangguoshu Airport has made great achievements concerning passenger throughput, which has surpassed 100,000, in 2014, according to Du Tao, general manager of Anshun Civil Aviation Tourism Development Co.

According to statistics, in 2014, a total of 1,894 flights landed and took off in Huangguoshu Airport, Southwest China's Guizhou province, up 78 percent in comparison to that of last year. Passenger throughput also took sixth place in Guizhou.

There are regular flights from Huangguoshu Airport to Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Chongqing and Kunming.

Anshun also takes positive actions to communicate and cooperate with provinces, including Yunnan and Hainan, and cities, such as Guilin and Wuhan, to open new air routes.

"With the development of infrastructure, transportation and tourism, more tourists from foreign places will visit Anshun," said Du.
