The Hefei-Fuzhou high-speed railway is scheduled to be put into operation on July 1. 43 pairs of high-speed trains, including 16 pairs of trains departing from the North Xiamen Railway Station, will be running along the route.
Travel time between Xiamen and Beijing will be shortened to 11 hours after the opening of the railway line. Besides, 2 pairs of bullet trains running between Xiamen and Guiyang will be added as the first 2 pairs of through-trains running between the two cities, which will reduce the travel time to 10 hours and 48 minutes.
3 pairs of Xiamen-Beijing high-speed trains, with the train numbers G321/322, G323/324, and G325/326, will be put into operation after the opening of the railway line.
5 pairs of high-speed trains, with the train numbers G1651/1652, G1653/1654, G1655/1656, G1657/1658, and G1659/1660, will be running between the North Xiamen Station and the Shanghai Hongqiao Station after the opening of the Hefei-Fuzhou Railway, saving at least 2 hours of travel time compared with the existing trains.
In addition, a Xiamen-Qingdao high-speed train and a pair of Xiamen-Hefei high-speed trains will be added after the opening of the railway route.
