Industrialization of Root Control and Seedlings Fast Breeding

III. Project Description:
High technology industrialization demonstration project of root control and seedlings fast breeding includes the production of container used for root control and seedlings fast breeding (especially used for big seedling), the production of special culture medium used for root control and seedlings fast breeding and the production of garden flower under the technology of root control and seedlings fast breeding. The project has been listed into the State High-and-New Technology Industry Development Program. Currently CASEE has signed export contract with regarding Australian counterparts with an annual export volume of two million pieces. The company has established bases for root control and seedlings fast breeding in five provinces or cities around China and relevant products have a final destination distributed in more than ten provinces or cities in China.
IV. Total Investment and Cooperation Form:
The project covers a total investment amount of USD 16.51 million including construction investment of USD 12.79 million. Relevant cooperation forms of the project include joint venture, cooperation and sole investment.
V. Anticipation of Market and Investment Return:
In each year newly increased harnessed soil erosion land around China reaches 600,000 km2 including 39 million hectares forest area and 500,000 hectares woodlands restored from cultivated lands. And also the annual demand for seedlings in China for the purpose of town green project and Green Olympic Project, etc. shall be USD 2.42 billion. After project completion, annual sales revenue will be USD 34 million, profits USD 5.97 million, and investment profit rate 22.4%.
