We Couture

Bridal gown designers Jiang Jia and Wang Dequan are often compared to Vera Wang. But the founders of We Couture, who have perhaps dressed more women on their big day in Shanghai than Vera Wang has in New York, strive to create their own identity both on the red carpet and before the altar. For the 2015 spring/summer collection, the designers drew inspiration from Dutch painter Van Gogh, painting the white dresses a sunflower yellow, night sky blue and rosy red. In terms of the fabric, their use of silky organza on panniers has made it possible for them to create dramatically large but light as air gowns.
