Search for next Silk Road models

The first round of the New Silk Road Model Contest 2014 is being held in China. The competition has been held annually since 1989, discovering fashion icons such as Du Juan, China's first international supermodel, and Zhang Zilin, the first Miss World of East Asian origin. The competition will take place in 15 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai and Chengdu. Some 30 participants will be selected to participate in a reality show that will be aired on Chongqing Satellite TV in October. The final competition will be held in November.
