A 17-member Chinese rescue team departs from Beijing Capital International Airport to provide humanitarian aid to the disaster-stricken areas in the Philippines hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan on Nov 20, 2013. China has provided 10 million yuan ($1.64 million) worth of relief goods to assist communities devastated by Typhoon Haiyan, apart from $200,000 donated by the Chinese government and China Red Cross.
