The 12th National Games, billed as China's mini-Olympics, opened in Shenyang, capital city of Northeast China's Liaoning province, on Aug 31. The quadrennial games features all 28 Olympic sports as well as baseball, softball and Wushu, and will run through Sept 12. Following are some pictures from the games.
