Britain's favourite brands: Chanel and Joseph

Cosmo Bride magazine celebrated the five-year anniversary of its entry into China with a wedding prize gala. During the China Wedding Awards, which kicked off on Dec 6, the magazine released a report examining 2013's wedding gown trends, focusing on Juliet caps and lace. It also worked with 10 noted designers, including Lan Yu and Qi Gang, who contributed 10 dresses for a charity auction. The proceeds will be donated to the China Social Welfare Foundation. The event awarded Cartier as the Influential Brand of the Year. American celebrity wedding planner David Tutera and Chinese fashion brand NE Tiger CEO Zhang Zhifeng won People of the Year.
