Underwear show reveals sexy style

Italian underwear label La Perla recently staged a show at Beijing Lan Club. A-list fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier was invited to create some of the garments in its latest collection.
The head designer from the label, Giovanni Bianchi, appeared at the show. Bianchi used to work in Gaultier's studio. He stresses that Chinese women are much more confident than before and are more willing to accept stylish underwear. That's why La Perla has a huge fan base in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong's provincial capital Guangzhou, he says.
The label has a history of 60 years in Italy and entered China in 2007.
