Madonna's lover Jesus Luz has been partying with a lingerie model.

The 22-year-old Brazilian hunk was spotted kissing and caressing Luciana Costa at a party in his home city of Rio de Janeiro on Saturday (14.03.09).

Fellow revellers claim Jesus was drunk and having a great time while 50-year-old Madonna was enjoying a quiet night at home in New York. An onlooker told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "Jesus was the hit of the party and all the girls went wild for him when he arrived. "But Luciana was more interested than most and soon got hold of him for a dance."

Another added: "They danced together closely. He whispered things in her ear, grabbed her hand, put his hand around her waist." The next morning, the pair were photographed together walking along the beach. Yesterday (17.03.09), the Brazilian beauty denied there is anything romantic happening between them, insisting she and Jesus were just "old friends having fun".

She said: "We both love to dance so were dancing and catching up, talking about our careers. "On the Sunday we went for a walk with friends we have in common. "Jesus had great things to say about Madonna and he doesn't care that she is so much older." Jesus' mother Cristiane Regina da Silva also approves of her son's new girlfriend.

She said: "My son came home so happy after his first photo session with Madonna. He even opened a bottle of champagne." Cristiane is convinced their relationship is karmic payback for the years Jesus was bullied at school because of his unusual name.

She said: "He took it all in stride and only told me about the taunting some time later. But I think now life has compensated him for all that." But Jesus' ex-girlfriend Catherine Franca, 18, has branded Madonna a "ridiculous old bag", claiming the singer is only dating the model to get publicity.

She said: "When I heard about him and Madonna I couldn't believe it. It is ridiculous. It's like my mother with a boyfriend my age, or even my grandmother. I think it's very weird. "She is a ridiculous old bag, jumping around on stage at her age. I think she has some kind of an age complex, she still thinks she is a young woman, she can't accept her age. "I think Madonna is just with him for the attention, to make someone jealous.

Jesus needs to think what he is going to do afterwards because she will find another toy boy. He could get very hurt."
