But Stevenson helped make up the gap with two jumpers, a midcourt steal and a
dunk on three consecutive possessions that tied the game at 43. Nelson's
3-pointer the next trip gave Orlando the advantage, but Horry answered with his
own 3-pointer off an inbounds pass with 1.7 seconds left to tie it at 46 at
halftime.
Howard had 10 points and 10 rebounds at the break, but seemed at times
overwhelmed by the Spurs' physical frontcourt. He missed layups, had shots
blocked and lost control of the ball underneath several times.
San Antonio's Manu Ginobili returned from a two-game absence with a bruised
right ankle, but wasn't a factor offensively. He finished with four points and
four assists.
