Beijing awarded 2007 taekwondo worlds

Beijing won the right to host the 2007 world taekwondo championships in the World Taekwondo Union's congress in Madrid on Tuesday.

Beijing was awarded the right after its two rivals from Thailand and Turkey withdrew their bids.
