As a global food and beverage leader, PepsiCo views sustainability as key to continued development in China, according to a statement from the company.

"PepsiCo is committed to delivering performance with purpose and the vision of taking root in China for a harmonious and win-win partnership," said the company. "PepsiCo has always made notable progress in promoting human, environmental and talent sustainability."

On April 28, PepsiCo China released a sustainability report at its Asia R&D Center in Shanghai, its fourth in China since 2008. The report outlines the latest achievements and best practices PepsiCo has made over the past two years in sustainability, brand building, innovation, productivity, new business development and social responsibility.
