Large Medium SmallChina Power Investment Corp signed an agreement on nuclear power development with Duke Energy on Friday, said the company's president, Lu Qizhou.
Lu didn't reveal details of the agreement, but said that China's cooperation with the United States in the clean energy sector is increasing.
Duke Energy also signed a memorandum of understanding with China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group on the same day to cooperate in nuclear power investment, nuclear power plant operation management and other clean energy developments.
