ICBC reports 61-pct growth in profits(Xinhua)
Updated: 2007-08-23 19:12 The Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, the country's largest lender, Thursday reported a 61.4-percent increase in aftertax profits in the first half of the year. Profits rose to 41.4 billion yuan (US$5.45 billion) for the January-June period, up 25.7 billion yuan in the same period a year ago, according to the bank's half-year report. |
