Village makes spider's web clothes(China Daily)Updated: 2007-03-07 09:19 Have you ever seen clothes made of spider's webs? Zheng Xianwen, 59, a reporter for the Simao television station in Southwest China's Yunnan Province, showed such clothing, which he got in a small mountain village in Zhenyuan County in November. "It took two days to make this cloth with more than 300 pieces of spider web," Zheng said. "Such clothes are never in general use today, but the people living in that mountainous area used to have no cloth, so they covered their bodies with plantain leaf, brown skins and even spider's webs," said Zheng.
