What will a poverty-stricken man do in the face of an unexpected wealth?
Tang Tongjie is a maintenance worker for greeneries in Shenzhen. On Wednesday
afternoon, when he was working alone, the 54-year-old found a leather handbag on
the lawn.
The bag had a number of receipts and 40,000 yuan (US$5,000) in cash, a sum he
would need 10 years to save.
Thinking that the one who lost the money would be very worried, he
immediately handed the bag to the police, who later found the owner surnamed
Liao.
It was beyond Liao's expectations that the lost money would be returned to
him so quickly.
