Couple start honeymoon in prison

A couple of Nanjing newlyweds had to spend their honeymoon behind bars after starting a fight over a delayed flight.

Ling and Zhou planned to fly to Kunming on July 1 for their honeymoon, but were told at the airport that the flight would be delayed due to a mechanical failure.

Ling and Zhou were angry and asked for compensation. Zhou even caused some damage and was arrested by airport police.

Trying to stop the officers, Ling assaulted them and was also detained.
