Uma Thurman has confirmed that she has broken up with her boyfriend Arpad Busson.

The representative also slammed reports she was romantically linked to Robert Pattinson of Twilight megafame.

Thurman will star in the upcoming Bel Ami with Pattinson about a decadent age in France when a young impressario slept his way to the top with rich society women.

Thurman has not met Pattinson, the rep explained: 'That is actually funny. Uma hasn't even been in the same room as Pattinson.'

Bel Ami is an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel.
