Hilary Duff and Madden go their separate ways

Hilary Duff and her longtime boyfriend, Good Charlotte frontman Joel Madden, have split up, according to reports.
Madden was proclaiming his new single status while DJ'ing at a Chicago club at the weekend, entertainment website accesshollywood.com said.
The 27-year-old told clubgoers Duff, 19, had broken up with him and that their eight-year age difference had been causing problems.
The pair dated for more than two years.
