Chinese stocks open lower - Apr 8

BEIJING - Chinese stocks opened more than 1 percent lower on Monday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,196.24 points, down 1.31 percent.
The Shenzhen Component Index dived 1.52 percent to open at 8,828.07.
