China Pacific Property Insurance Co Ltd (CPIC property) has set up its branch office in the Huaqiao International Service Business Park under the approval of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission. This is the first insurance company branch office established in a district of China.

Huaqiao’s sales agency of CPIC property was established in Dec, 2010. After a year of effort, it has become a branch office. This marks a breakthrough in the development of the financing sector in Huaqiao.

Insurance is an important part of the financing sector and is fundamental to the modern economy. Rapid growth of the insurance sector can help dampen the impact of disasters and can stabilize social and economic development.

Government officials attended the opening ceremony of the branch office and expressed their hopes that the office will develop successfully through innovation in its operational model and improvement of services.
