Guangdong doles out real-name system for car insurance claims

The China Insurance Regulatory Commission Guangdong Bureau has decided to implement a real-name system for vehicle insurance claims to prevent vehicle insurance intermediaries and 4S shops from claiming insurance indemnities, the Information Times reported.

Under the system, insurance companies are required to transfer all insurance indemnities to the insured's account, and 4S shops and insurance intermediaries are forbidden from claiming compensation on behalf of the insured.
