Inheritance-Creation, an exhibition now on in Lecong Town, near Foshan, in Guangdong province, shows the developments in Chinese design.

The exhibition features works by students and young teachers at Beijing's Central Academy of Fine Arts. And on show is furniture, decorative objects and jewelry.

The exhibits show how designers source inspiration from Chinese cultural traditions.

The exhibition is on at the Jinhai Culture and Creativity Center through Oct 6.
