Merit race heats up as players jockey for spots

With only two weeks left before the cut-off date, players will be pulling out all the stops as they vie for berths in the lucrative CIMB Classic in Malaysia and the WGC-HSBC Champions in China.
As of Oct 26, the leading four golfers from the Order of Merit will qualify for the $8.5 million WGC-HSBC Champions at Sheshan International Golf Club from Nov 5-8.
The top 10 players will qualify for the $7 million CIMB Classic at Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club from Oct 29-Nov 1.
