Ford opens engine factory

Ford's largest engine factory in the Asia-Pacific region - jointly established with its Chinese partner Chang'an - became operational in Chongqing on June 19. With an investment of $500 million, the factory will have an annual production capacity of 400,000 units, which is expected to increase Chang'an Ford's total engine production to 750,000 units a year.
