Rooftop actress

Taiwan pop singer Jay Chou has revealed the lead actress of his second directorial work, a musical called Rooftop. Chou came across Li Xin'ai, a young girl, on the sidewalk near his company in Taipei. Li had no acting experience. Just like the first film he directed, Chou will play lead in this second production, taking the role of a young man who grows up in an underprivileged but loving neighborhood. Chou will perform with intense sequences of dancing and singing. The film will hit theaters on July 11.
