The amount the State Administration of Cultural Heritage allocated to renovate 10 ancient buildings in Chengkan, a village in Huizhou, Anhui province, starting June 6. The protection of ancient architecture came under the spotlight recently when actor Jackie Chan said he would donate four historical buildings he bought from Anhui to a university in Singapore.
