1.37 billion yuan

As of 8 am on Sunday, charitable foundations from the Chinese mainland had received donations worth 1.37 billion yuan ($223.1 million) for disaster relief work in Ya'an, which was hit by a magnitude-7 earthquake on April 20, according to a report by China Foundation Center. The donations have exceeded the amount of money raised after the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake by 4 million yuan, the report said.
