Australian Mark Webber told his Red Bull Formula One team on Sunday that he needed it to be 100 percent behind him and was confident it would be despite recent criticism from a key adviser.

"I do believe I can have a crack at the championship again this year, as I have done in previous seasons," said the 36-year-old, who has been beaten for the past four years by teammate Sebastian Vettel.

"That is my goal and that's what I'm getting up each day thinking about.
