Zhou Jue
Zhou Jue, who is now 89 years old, became the third spokesperson for the NPC between 1993 and 1998.
Zhou was also once China's ambassador to France and served as assistant minister of foreign affairs.
He presided over five conferences of former premier Li Peng.
