Qiantang River Bridge
Completed: 1937
Location: Hangzhou, Zhejiang province
Qiantang River Bridge is China's first modern iron bridge. The bridge was blown up merely three months after it opened to traffic in order to block the invading Japanese troops. It was rebuilt in 1946.
