China donates $1.48m humanitarian aid to Pakistan

BEIJING - China will deliver humanitarian aid worth 10 million yuan ($1.48 million) to flood-ravaged Pakistan, China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced Sunday.

The Pakistan government kicked off an emergency rescue and relief operation on July 30 after declaring an emergency in the flood-struck northwestern province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
